Tandy Bernard Caudill

Tandy Bernard Caudill, 83, of Marion, passed away at 12:29 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019, at his home in Marion. He was born in Fusona, Kentucky, on May 17, 1936, to Willie and Myrtle (Day) Caudill. On March 12, 1960, Tandy married Esther L. Adams and she preceded him in death on January 15, 2009.
Tandy worked as a forklift operator for 41 years with Gencorp. He attended Friendship Baptist Church. Tandy loved music, especially country and gospel. He enjoyed watching westerns and the TV shows "Highway To Heaven" and "Touched By An Angel." He was an excellent baker and often made cakes, rolls and bread for his family and friends.
Survivors include his two sons, Gregory Wayne (Mollie) Caudill, Crown Point, IN and Delzie Bernard Caudill, Marion; daughter, Loretta Lynn Blackwell, Marion; seven granddaughters, Christina, Kayla, Tanya, Delina, Tiffany, Celina and Miranda; four grandsons, Mike, Cory, Jared and Nick; 17 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Laretta Faye Baughman of Marion, Phyllis Ann (Late Alvin, Sr.) Adams of Marion, IN, Alice Marie (William) DeBoard of Marion, and Sharon Lynn (Emery, Sr.) Bailey, Fairmount; brother, David Allen Caudill, Marion; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, Tandy was preceded in death by his son, Billy Ray Caudill; brother, Wilson Palmer Caudill; sister, Mattie Lee (Jimmy) Gibbs and infant sister, Norma Sue Caudill.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 North Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Tandy's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Koontz officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
